Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built HireUs because great candidates are often buried beneath crowded job boards, résumé piles, and algorithms they cannot control. HireUs flips that model. Talent can create a free public profile, mark themselves available, and compete for greater visibility through weekly Spotlight rankings within their own discipline. Companies can browse available talent, post and boost jobs, and invite relevant candidates directly. I designed and built the entire product in one intense week as a solo founder. What started as a simple experiment around paid visibility evolved into a more complete hiring marketplace, with separate experiences for candidates and employers, discipline-based rankings, job matching, invitations, and availability that stays current. The hardest challenge is also the obvious one: building both sides of a marketplace from zero. I’m starting with talent and working toward giving employers a concentrated pool of people who are genuinely available.
