It listens during the call and surfaces the right hint at the right time. No setup headaches, works across Zoom, Teams and Meet. The post-meeting summary with action items saves me a good days of my work.
What needs improvement
Hint suggestions sometimes feel a bit sales focused. Would love a toggle for technical or developer style meetings. Small thing but would make it feel more personal.

OtterTried Otter.ai and Fireflies before this. Both are good for recording but they don't help you during the meeting. HintMint actually assists in real time which is why I switched.

What sets HintMint apart is that it actually stays out of the way. There's no bot announcing itself in the call, no awkward "an assistant has joined" notification, it just runs quietly in the background while I stay fully present in the conversation. The real-time transcription is fast and the speaker identification is accurate, so my notes are clean without me lifting a finger.
The live coaching has been the biggest surprise. During sales calls it surfaces the right follow-up question or data point at the exact moment I need it, and the post-meeting summaries pull out decisions and action items I would've otherwise lost. The fact that it remembers context from past meetings, so it resurfaces earlier commitments when a topic comes back up makes it feel less like a note-taker and more like a second brain. Setup took about two minutes and it works across Zoom, Teams, and Meet without fuss.
