Helsa was born to be the science-backed companion for anyone looking to improve their metabolic health. Unlike generic fitness apps, Helsa looks at the full picture – nutrition, sleep, stress, exercise, blood markers, body markers – all of which play a crucial role in metabolic wellness. (For instance, did you know lack of sleep can raise blood sugar levels and increase diabetes risk? It’s true – managing sleep and stress is as important as diet!)
It continuously analyzes your sleep, stress, meals, macros, body and blood markers to understand your unique patterns and guide you in real time. For example, if you’ve had a short night’s sleep and log a high-carb breakfast, Helsa may suggest ie. a post-meal walk to help stabilize your glucose response—turning small actions into meaningful improvements for your metabolic health. 💫
💡 Helsa gives your easy and simple actions on what to improve, be it diet, meal timing, macronutrients, exercise, sleep management, stress management etc.

Our approach is inspired by proven programs: studies show lifestyle changes can lower the risk of type 2 diabetes by ~58%, so we wanted to make those changes easier and fun.
Helsa uses scores (overall Metabolic, Activity, Sleep, Stress) to measure you progress and positive changes in your lifestyle, keeping you accountable if you slack. 📈📉
We built this because we ourselves wanted a dead simple solution for a holistic overview of our metabolic health, and an easy way to track diet, sleep, stress, health markers etc. while seeing how we progress, without it feeling too data heavy to the end user. We also think there is a need for a more holistic approach to understanding metabolic health and which lifestyle choices you make in order to properly provide accurate highly tailored guidance - for YOU.

This is a really compelling take on metabolic health as a system, not just a calorie tracker with an AI wrapper 👏
What stands out to me is the holistic loop you’re closing — food → sleep → stress → activity → blood markers → guidance — most apps do 1–2 of these well, but very few connect them into something actionable day to day.
A couple things I’m curious about (in a good way):
How do you balance personalization vs. overwhelm? With this many signals, the quality of prioritization feels like the real moat.
How do you handle trust and explainability when giving “real-time” guidance around blood sugar and biomarkers?
The food photo + voice logging combo is smart — reducing friction here matters way more than people think.
Big fan of tools that move health from “static dashboards” to continuous coaching. Excited to see how users stick with this long-term, especially for prediabetes and metabolic syndrome use cases. 🚀
