Hal9 helps non-technical founders launch AI-powered products in 30 days without expensive teams or endless AI prompts. Instead of vibe-coding alone with robots, talk to our AI experts who scope your vision, refine ideas, guide AI agents to build secure scalable MVPs on our platform. It's the most competitive way to ship AI MVPs: experts guide (don't code from scratch), AI handles the heavy lifting, predictable pricing, no lock-in, full customization. Focus on growth while we handle the tech.

What do you think? …

Javier Luraschi
Hi ProductHunt! Javier here, founder of Hal9 👋 We help non-technical founders like many of you turn AI ideas into launched products in just 30 days without the usual dev headaches or crazy costs. No more endless prompt wrestling or solo vibe-coding dead ends. Our experts guide AI agents to build secure, scalable MVPs while you focus on users, growth, and fundraising. We’ve shipped dozens of real AI apps (chatbots, agents, apis, mobile apps, extensions) this way. Super excited to see what you all think. AMA!

@javierluraschi congrats on the launch! Do you also help with fixing vibe coded apps or more starting from scratch?

Javier Luraschi

@austin_heaton we help with both! Our plan comes with everything... compute, token, storage AND also 10 hours of real expert help. You can use those expert hours for whatever you want :)

Zolani Matebese

@javierluraschi Congrats on the launch Javier. So this is like aicofounder crossed with base44? How do you deal with product validation?

Javier Luraschi

@zolani_matebese we are like base44 / lovabale / replit / etc for AI apps.

In technical terms, an AI app is really a Python App or API that is really good at calling LLMs and using Python libraries.

The AI generation part is nascent, so our expert team will do a lot of the heavy lifting for the AI. That said, our AI platform does have everything automated from the engineering side, so it's 100x faster to build an AI app in Hal9 than to do it by hand.

For product validation, our all-inclusive plan does includes real expert hours, which many of our customer use to have a real person test the product. However, we don't do any market validation. We don't do anything related to business at all. Think of us as your AI / tech cofounder.

We are your fearless nerd mercenaries, equipped with state-of-the-art tech, but everything else is on you.

Congrats on the launch 🙌🏻 Super interesting approach. Curious to know: at what point do founders usually hit the biggest blocker, ideation, scoping, or actually shipping the MVP with AI agents?

Javier Luraschi

@thomaxx0 very smart question! It's really all of them. We've helped them on each stage of the process. HOWEVER, if you ask founders, no one thinks they need help on ideation or scope, everything thinks that they just need a little bit of help to "finish" the MVP. Unfortunately, that's usually the tip of the iceberg. There are cases where we do help them finish the MVP, but in most cases, we work with them to understand why the MVP is not getting finished. Could be multiple issues: Scope creep, tech not viable, incorrect tech, right problem but wrong solution, solution too complex, and on and on. So while many would think they just need to "finish" their MVP, once they work with us they usually find ways to do it all over in a much smarter and targeted way that starts getting them customers faster. You want something simple that can get you your first customers, nothing else matters.

We have an article about this but we learn more about this every day: https://hal9.com/articles/why-ai-mvps-fail

Markus Schneider

Cost and uncertainty are usually the biggest worries. Hiring a team can get expensive fast and AI tools alone still leave a lot to figure out. A setup like Hal9 with clear pricing and a defined timeline make easier to plan around. It is simpler to decide when you know what you are paying for and what you’ll get at the end.

Javier Luraschi

@markus_schneider2 correct! They way we handle product uncertainty at Hal9 is by following the lean startup methodology, we really work hard to scope down your product to fit in one month, this way you can always get some feedback from the market, from real users. This is, by far, the best way to derisk building a product. It's really hard to guess what the market wants, so the faster you can get feedback from the market on your MVP and start iterating, the lower the uncertainty on cost, timing and market-product fit.

Van de Vouchy
Hey Javier, that line about solo vibe-coding dead ends hits. Was there a founder you worked with who had a solid AI idea but got completely stuck trying to build it themselves?
Javier Luraschi

@vouchy ALL OF THEM! We have a few testimonials in our website hal9.com. For the most part, everyone hits a wall at some point and need help getting unstuck. Different founders hit a wall at different stages, some very early on and it feels like they are missing 80% of their vibe-coded product, others come at 90% and find out they can't get the tech or AI to perform closer to 100%.

Cathy Cai

Very compelling value prop. How do you balance deep customization with the 30-day launch timeline, especially for products with more complex workflows or data requirements?

Javier Luraschi

@cathy_cc we follow the lean startup methodology and make sure the product is built iteratively month over month. So we first scope down the project with you to fit in 30 days, and the deliverable is a minimum viable product using the hours included in our monthly plan, see hal9.com/plans. Once you have an MVP and have user feedback, we can keep improving it over time to an alpha, beta, and eventually releases that are used by millions.

A lil question: How much control founders keep during those 30 days. When your experts are guiding the AI agents and shaping the MVP, how involved is the founder in day-to-day decisions and how do you make sure the final product still feels like their vision and not a generic AI-built app? Best of luck on the launch, Javier.
Javier Luraschi

@why_tahir great questions! Obviously the founder is driving the product, we are just here to make your vision a reality. We are extremely flexible so you can always guide direction; however, there is a tradeoff. We encourage founders to lock the scope for the first month, let us run with it, provide weekly updates and come back after the first month with the first iteration finished. Make changes in-between is possible, but it pushed the timeline to have your MVP deliver in 30 days.

Henrik Falk

Too many AI tools let you play around, but it’s hard to actually finish anything. What I like about Hal9 is the clear goal of getting a real product out in a set time. Having experts guide the work while AI does the building feels like a better path than staying stuck trying things forever.

Javier Luraschi

@henrik_falk the Hal9 team will get you stuck, that's definitely one of the perks. We've learned that is so much more effective to prompt AI to build products when experts know the technology and can craft the prompts appropriately.
