How does the scoring actually work, like is there a rubric or do the agents just riff on vibes?

@bulemglezgjgz Great question! It’s definitely not just vibes. The real-time voice agent acts purely as the aggressive investor, but after the session ends, we pipe the entire transcript into a secondary intelligence engine (Claude 3.5 Sonnet).
We use a strict rubric that evaluates you on three core metrics:
Clarity & Brevity (Did you ramble or stay concise?)
Objection Handling (Did you actually answer the hard questions, or did you dodge them?)
Discipline (Did you rely on your 'banned buzzwords' like 'synergy' or 'disrupt'?)
So the sparring is dynamic, but the scoring is a rigorous, objective analysis of your exact phrasing.

How real-time is the scoring, and does it adapt based on the type of pitch you’re giving? Curious if it works better for sales decks than casual ideas.

@oktayxx8t The voice sparring itself is completely real-time (under 500ms latency), but we intentionally save the scoring for the very end so you aren't distracted while speaking. The second you hit 'End Session', the intelligence engine parses your entire transcript and gives you a 'Coach Read' score in about 3 seconds.
As for adaptability—yes! It is highly adapted to your specific context. During onboarding, you paste in your startup's profile. We use that to generate custom adversarial personas.
To answer your second point: It is definitely optimized for investor pitches rather than generic sales decks. The rubric specifically penalizes you for using VC-hated buzzwords (like 'synergy' or 'disruptive') and rewards you for concise market-size logic and objection handling. If you just have a casual idea, the 'Skeptical Angel' room is a great place to see if it holds water before you start building!"

Would love a "save and replay" option so I can revisit my pitches after a session and actually see where I rambled or froze. Hearing the real-time pushback is great, but being able to scrub back to specific moments would make the practice loop way more useful.

@bedirhanterkes I love this idea. We actually already log the full text transcript of the session for the Coach Read analysis, but bringing the actual audio playback into the dashboard so you can scrub through it and hear yourself freeze is a brilliant addition to the practice loop. I've just added this to the top of our roadmap for the next update. Thanks for the feedback!

The idea of an AI agent actually pushing back instead of nodding along is refreshing. Love that it scores you out loud too, kind of forces you to sit with the feedback instead of scrolling past it.
