Hello everyone! One thing I’ve always missed with to-do list apps is the ability to put tasks on a map, just like placing pins in Google Maps. This feature would be perfect for planning trips, making a list of restaurants to try, or saving your favorite hikes. Gört solves this problem by allowing you to add locations as attachments, the same way you can add a PDF or a link to a website. To integrate the map functionality seamlessly, tasks can be viewed based on attachment type. For example, all prioritized tasks can be viewed together in a sorted list, all scheduled tasks can be viewed on a timeline, and all tasks with locations can be viewed together on a map. This unique modular design not only makes Gört a perfect tool for traveling, but also makes it easier to find things in daily use. It also provides a few other unique features: - Mark tasks as ongoing, ignored, or completed. - Star mark to highlight tasks in yellow. - Set a priority on a scale from one to ten. - Share lists by scanning a QR code (or via email). - A structured and clean user interface. The goal is to make it easy to structure tasks and information the way you want. This is the reason for the modular attachment system in combination with a recursive task structure. It’s about getting started easily with simple things like a grocery list while also being capable of handling ambitious projects without getting overwhelmed. I find the project very successful. I like it, and it offers many possibilities for organizing daily life. I believe it is a direct alternative to Things 3 and simultaneously provides several functions, such as the card feature. For me personally, most of the tasks or functions are not relevant to my daily life. Nevertheless, I would clearly prefer Tings. Why? You only pay for it once. With Gört, however, you have to sign up for a subscription. I don't understand at all why you have to sign up for a subscription for a function or application that doesn't incur recurring costs like servers or the like. I Things 3 it's completely unreasonable to offer it as a subscription model. I also wonder who is willing to spend money on it. It’s preferable to make a one-time payment.

The ability to attach locations and view tasks on a map is such a practical feature. How does the map integration work? Can you search for places directly within the app? Also, I'm curious about the QR code sharing. Does it allow for real-time collaboration on tasks? Great work, Alexander!

This tool would be great for making travel guides~~ I hope to have a function that can connect various places in series according to time and travel route planning. This way, you can easily see whether there are long detours or inappropriate routes in the route planning. And it would be even better if you could add some transportation mode mark icons to the connection between the two locations~
