My family lives all across the U.S. and we use marco polo to leave and respond to video messages. but their update a few years ago made it so you have to pay if you want to speed up someone's message. I have ADHD and find it impossible to sit through some of the slower talker's messages. and I feel bad not responding when I've personally been asked a question or someone shared something they expected a response from me about. I looked into using google duo to replace marco polo but it's not a messaging type service. it's a live video call type service meaning an actual conversation where you talk to their face and they talk to yours. I can't do that either so that's a no from me dawg.
