The Chrome extension is especially useful for capturing LinkedIn prospect details without manually copying information between tabs, spreadsheets, a CRM, and outreach tools. This makes personalized outreach easier and reduces repetitive administrative work. Overall, Gen-X provides a focused and efficient workflow for sales and growth teams that want to spend more time engaging prospects and less time maintaining disconnected tools.

What needs improvement

I would like to see the library of native integrations continue to expand, particularly with deeper two-way CRM synchronization. More ready-made workflow templates for different sales motions, industries, and team structures would also help new users get value from the platform faster.

Additional prospect signals from platforms beyond LinkedIn, stronger campaign reporting, and more granular workflow customization would make Gen-X even more useful for advanced teams.

What needs improvement

As the product continues to grow, more prebuilt workflow templates, deeper integrations, and even more customization for different sales motions would make it stronger. The core is already promising, and the roadmap has room to make it even more flexible for advanced teams.

What's great

Gen-X has made the prospecting process much smoother for me! Instead of jumping between LinkedIn, spreadsheets, my CRM, and outreach tools, I can keep everything in one place.. And I especially like how the Chrome extension captures prospect information while I'm already researching, so I don't have to manually copy everything over later.

It also helps keep the context around each lead, which makes writing personalized outreach much easier! Overall, it cuts down on repetitive admin work and lets me focus more on actually reaching out to prospects.

What needs improvement

I'd like to see even more native integrations and a few more ready-made workflow templates for different sales processes. As the platform grows, having additional customization options for teams with different workflows would make it even better.

As someone who spends hours daily on outbound sales, Gen-X is an absolute lifesaver. It fixes the biggest headache in prospecting today: losing context between finding a great lead and actually emailing them. Usually, by the time I copy-paste details from LinkedIn into a CRM and then into an outreach tool, I lose the specific "hook" that made me want to contact them in the first place, resulting in generic emails.
