I built FocusRamp because every site blocker I tried was all-or-nothing — you either blocked Facebook entirely, or kept the whole feed of distractions along with the one or two things you actually still needed the site for. So FocusRamp doesn't block the sites — it hides the parts that pull you in. Facebook and Instagram's feeds disappear, but the rest of the site stays usable. I paired that with a real Pomodoro timer and a scheduler, so focus mode can lock in automatically during work hours instead of you remembering to turn it on. It's completely free, works offline, and doesn't need an account — I wanted something I'd trust to install myself, since I built it to fix my own doomscrolling problem in the first place.
