I've cycled through a bunch of habit trackers and meditation apps, and they all eventually became another thing I had to manage. This was the first one that didn't put the work on me to design my own routine. The "open, press start, done" simplicity is what made it stick where the others didn't.
This review is everything I hoped someone would eventually say about ActionFlow. Thank you for taking the time to write it this thoroughly.
"The first one that didn't put the work on me to design my own routine", that is the exact sentence I had in my head when I started building this. Really glad it landed that way for you.
On the streak and progress tracking, you are completely right, and the way you framed it is exactly how I think about it, too. A light touch, not another thing to manage. That balance is already something I am working on for the next update. The goal is to make progress feel rewarding without turning it into a dashboard you feel obligated to maintain.
The one-time purchase feedback means a lot as well. Subscriptions made sense for this category when I started building, but I never felt right charging people monthly for something that should just work quietly in the background of their day.
Genuinely appreciate you. Feedback like this shapes what gets built next.
