Flockbay is a free AI game maker built on Godot: an agent in the official Godot editor that writes GDScript and scenes, then playtests them. It runs the game, sends input events, reads the debugger and captures the viewport. Your game stays a plain Godot 4 project on disk. Start on free hosted AI, or bring your own Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, API key or MCP agent, or a local model on your GPU (Windows). Paid plans add Steam page drafts, trailers and devlogs. Hi Product Hunt, I'm Eduardo, I make Flockbay.
Before Flockbay I tried to make a prop hunt style game. I came from web development, so I learned Unreal and leaned on AI the whole way, and it was still hard. Then I launched it on Reddit without ever playtesting it, in a genre that already had plenty of games like it, with nobody waiting for it. It flopped. Flockbay is what I wish I'd had for both halves of that.
Flockbay is a free AI game maker built on Godot. You open a Godot project, a new one or your own (Godot 4.6+), and ask for something, like a door that opens when the player walks up to it. The AI writes the GDScript and scenes, runs the game, sends it input events, reads stdout and the debugger, captures the viewport, and fixes what it finds before it hands it back. Then you press F5 and judge it. Every change shows as a diff you can revert or commit to your own Git, and the game stays a plain Godot project on your disk that stock Godot opens.

When the game is ready, the publishing tools help you get it seen: a drafted Steam page exported as a .zip for Steamworks, trailers and devlogs, and playtest links. Those are on paid plans from $20 a month. Preparing the Steam page by hand and exporting it are free.
It runs on Windows, macOS (Apple silicon) and Linux.
