The job market is extremely cooked. I have friends sending 300 applications to hear nothing back. I also have founder friends who can't find a single person who actually wants to build with them. Both groups are miserable. Both groups are on LinkedIn. Nobody is talking to each other. Somewhere out there, a person who would die to be the first marketer at the next big thing is refreshing their email waiting to hear back from a company they don't even like. And somewhere else, a founder with a genuinely great idea is about to give up because they can't find that person. FlipFound is my attempt to put these two groups in the same room and get out of the way. Projects pitch themselves. Talent browses. The right people find each other. No recruiters taking a 25% cut, no AI filters rejecting you because you used the wrong keyword, no applying into the void and wondering if anyone even read it. I built this because the gap between people who want to build something and people who want to be part of something is embarrassingly large and embarrassingly fixable. Also I was procrastinating on my thesis. But mostly the first thing.
