Hi Product Hunt community 👋
We built FileGig because sharing large files is still harder than it should be.
Many file sharing platforms focus only on storage. We wanted to build something that combines fast file hosting, global distribution, and ways for creators and businesses to earn from the content they share.
With FileGig, you can upload files, share them with a simple link, or integrate directly using our S3-compatible API.
How creators and businesses can monetize with FileGig
Website & App Owners (Storage + Revenue Share) Use FileGig as your S3-compatible storage backend with fast global delivery. If users who discover your content through FileGig upgrade to a paid plan, you earn a share of that revenue.
Direct File Sales (Creator Marketplace) Sell digital products such as templates, documents, videos, software, or presets. FileGig handles secure storage, payments, and delivery so you can focus on creating.
Affiliate Program (Lifetime Recurring Commission) Refer businesses that need reliable file hosting and distribution, and earn recurring lifetime commissions from the customers you bring to FileGig.
We're just getting started, and we'd genuinely love your feedback.
• How do you currently share large files? • What would make you switch from your current solution? • Which monetization feature would be most valuable to you?
Thanks for checking out FileGig! 🚀

How does the creator reward system actually work? Like, do you earn from downloads, views, or some kind of tipping setup, and is there a minimum payout before you can cash out?
FileGig's creator reward system is based on three monetization models:
• Revenue Share – Earn a share when users upgrade to paid plans through the files you share. • Direct File Sales – Sell your digital products with your own pricing while FileGig handles storage, payments, and delivery. • Affiliate Program – Refer businesses that need file hosting and earn lifetime recurring commissions.
So, rewards are not based on downloads, views, or tipping. We focus on revenue generated through real usage and transactions.
I've updated my first comment and product description to explain this more clearly.
For payouts, we're finalizing the payout policy and minimum withdrawal threshold as we roll out the monetization features.
Thanks for the feedback! 🚀

It's not a download/view-based reward system and there is no tipping model.
Creators and businesses can earn through: • Revenue share from paid plans generated through their files • Direct sales of digital files • Lifetime recurring commissions through referrals
I've also updated the product description and first comment with more details. Thanks for helping us make this clearer! 🚀
