Fenquist started from a simple frustration: most UK freelancers don't need full accounting software, they need to send a proper invoice, get paid, and not be shocked by their tax bill in January.
What it does:
• Branded invoices, quotes, credit notes and recurring invoices, in 11 currencies
• A payment page on every invoice: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer, through your own Stripe account (we never hold your money)
• Automatic reminders that start friendly, get firmer, run on weekdays only and stop the moment you're paid
• Receipt photos read for you, mileage at HMRC rates, and a running Income Tax and NI (or Corporation Tax) estimate
• Free read-only access for your accountant
What it doesn't do yet: it doesn't file anything with HMRC. The tax figure is an estimate, not advice.
