FAMI-KAN is a free bill splitter for group trips, from friends to whole families. Set a ratio once (adults 1.0, kids 0.5, non-drinkers 0.7) and every expense follows it. Traveling with families? It can settle by household too: three families, seven people, two transfers instead of six. Everyone adds expenses from their own phone through a shared link, with no account and no install. Anyone can open the breakdown and see how their share was calculated. 62 currencies, 8 languages, no daily limits.

Hey Product Hunt š KZ here, maker of FAMI-KAN.
Ever tried to split a trip fairly between families with different numbers of kids?
On our family trips, I was the one doing the math with a calculator and a notepad. The split apps I tried didn't really help. They split per person, so kids counted the same as adults, and I still had to add up each family's share by hand. Nobody else could see how the numbers were worked out, either. And the best-known app now limits how many expenses you can add per day on the free plan.
That's what I built FAMI-KAN for. It splits by household:
⢠Settle each family as one unit. Three families, seven people: two transfers instead of six.
⢠Set a ratio once (adults 1.0, kids 0.5) and every expense follows it.
⢠Open the breakdown and see exactly how your share was calculated.
It doesn't move money. You pay each other however you already do, and FAMI-KAN tells you who pays whom. No account, no install. Share a link and everyone adds expenses from their own phone.
It's free with no daily limits, in 8 languages.
I built this on my own and some parts are still rough. Two things I'd really like to know:
1. Does splitting by household match how your family or group actually pays?
2. Where did you get stuck the first time you opened it?
