Hi, I'm Nabeel, the creator of Ember, a private AI notebook for Mac. Your notes are stored as plain files on your Mac, and you can use AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Google, or a local model that operates fully offline. Teach it a skill once, and it will remember.
The launch is scheduled for this Tuesday. Before we go live, I would love to hear two things from anyone passing by: What would you like an AI notebook to do for you, and what would it take for you to trust one with your notes? Nothing leaves your Mac in Ember, and I want to know if that is sufficient.

I will answer all questions.
Files stay local and you can swap models whenever, that part is genuinely useful for anyone paranoid about lock-in. Feels snappy on my Macbook too.
@halitesenler Thank you Halit. That lock-in part is the whole reason I built it. The notes are just plain files on my Mac, so I can switch AI whenever I want and nothing breaks. Glad it feels snappy on your Mac too. If you hit anything weird bugs or missing. I would love to hear it.
