What's great

Elfsight offers an impressive variety of apps that make it easy to enhance any website without heavy development work. The widgets are simple to customize, install, and integrate, saving hours of setup time. Their support team is also incredibly responsive and helpful, always quick to troubleshoot or guide you through any configuration.

What needs improvement

Some widgets could benefit from more advanced customization options or dynamic linking flexibility for complex site structures. A few apps also have feature limitations unless you’re on higher plans, but overall, the value and ease of use make it well worth it.

We went with Elfsight because they have a ton of widget options at a great price. It’s super easy to find what I need without building from scratch, and it saves me (and my dev team) a lot of time.

How easy is the one-line embed across different CMS platforms?

The one-line embed method is easy and we’ve implemented it without friction.

How well do widgets affect site speed and Core Web Vitals?

Still waiting for more data on this, but so far widgets load smoothly and generally perform well, though as with any third-party embeds, lightweight optimization and selective loading are key. For most use cases, the performance impact is minimal compared to the time savings gained.

Can non-technical teammates manage and update widgets independently?

Even teammates with no coding experience can manage, update, and deploy new widgets. The interface is clean and approachable, empowering non-technical users to experiment and publish confidently.

What's great

IMO the main strengths are:
– All widgets come at one price in a single subscription (there's a widget for almost any need, and the library is growing)
– Paid plans depend on your website traffic. For instance, I had a Basic plan for about three months, then upgraded to Pro as the website grew
– The help center is really supportive and fast to respond. Though I didn't have any issues with widgets, more like customization requests

EmbedSocial

I've tried a few alternatives (EmbedSocial, Commoninja, etc.), but I went with Elfsight because their widget library really covers everything I need for a website. Plus, the product places a strong emphasis on multilingual features, which also fits my needs perfectly.

How well do widgets affect site speed and Core Web Vitals?

I had some CWV issues with Elfsight widgets a while ago, but they’ve updated the code since, so that’s no longer a problem.

Did multilingual support work reliably for your audience?

I run several multilingual websites and it’s all been great so far.

Which review sources were most useful and accurate?

I really like the All-in-One Reviews widget with the AI Overview feature. It pulls in feedback from various sources (Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc) and even supports multiple languages.

What's great

I started using Elfsight early last year when I needed a custom map integration. More recently, I was looking for something that could help me build a comprehensive team directory with filtering options for our WordPress site, without bogging it down with plugins. I did my research and found that Elfsight was the best option. Not only is their platform extremely professional-looking on the front end, but the back end is also simple and intuitive to use. The bonus? Every time I have had a question about customizing how we would like things to look, their response time is quick, and they have often supplied me with custom code for our needs. I would highly recommend Elfsight if you need any kind of widget for your website, as they are constantly adding new widgets and seem committed to the customer user experience.

We needed a comprehensive team directory and something that could be filtered. I did a lot of research before deciding on Elfsight. Their platform is easy and intuitive to use, cost-effective, professional-looking, and the customer service has been top-notch, often supplying custom code for a widget to function the way we need it to.

What's great

We have been using Elfsight for several years and are extremely satisfied with the user-friendly widgets and the flexibility of the platform. Thanks to Elfsight, we were able to easily enhance our website with interactive elements, such as the Team Showcase app, without requiring any technical expertise.

What we particularly appreciate is the fast and friendly customer support: questions are always answered promptly, and in our case, a special exception was even made to accommodate our specific needs.

For companies looking to improve their website with useful, well-functioning widgets, we can wholeheartedly recommend Elfsight. The platform is reliable, easy to use, and offers excellent value for money.

What needs improvement

We really enjoy using the Team Showcase app and find it very useful. One improvement that could make it even more convenient would be the ability to automatically sort team member names in alphabetical order. This would save time when managing the list and ensure a consistent and professional presentation.

I'm a costumer! And let me say some things:

I use it a lot (for my costumers). This not just a service that partners with me! It's almost my best friend! The widgets are amazing! My marketing landing pages got so much easier and faster to launch. Very simple to use, very simple to setup and install. Trust me, it's amazing value for the money!

About support: This team knows that this is the point where costumers stay or leave. And let me put it this way: I'm not going anywhere!

Keep up the amazing work guys! I don't want AI crap apps. I'm sticking with you.

I found about Elfsight when I was looking for a widget to collect and send form submissions from my website. Their form builder is not only multifunctional and flexible for form setup, but also allows integrations with third-party services for further submissions processing, which is very important for me. For example, with Zapier integration, it's easy to aggregate submissions in other services and manage them with shared access. Everything is very simple and not require a developer to install or configure. Love It!

What's great

Elfsight makes me money. I have my clients get the The Elfsight Review Widget for the websites I build. The widget works perfectly with schema so that your website pages and blog articles can display your reviews when you show up in search results. That makes my clients look good and makes me a valuable partner.

vs Alternatives

I use the Elfsight review widget because it automatically updates and shows the most recent reviews. If my clients have any issues setting it up the customer support is freakin awesome.

How intuitive is the drag-and-drop editor for non-developers?

Super easy to use.

Can non-technical teammates manage and update widgets independently?

Learning how to use the widgets is easier than baking cookies.

Any limitations with analytics or event tracking integration?

I'm not worried about analytics with the review widget. It works.

What's great

What I really love about Elfsight is the wide range of cool apps they offer. The Support Team helped me install the Google Reviews, Instagram Feed and AI Chatbot widgets to my small online store selling football kits.

AI Chatbot widget, that's what made a big difference for me. Clients can always ask different questions about available units, delivery terms, discounts, and get quick, accurate answers in seconds. It significantly reduced the number of queries I had to manually check and answer before.

I also like their supportive Community Forum. I enjoy browsing there because it’s a vast knowledge base and just a great place to connect with other Elfsight users.

Just because they offer apps I needed. That's a great value for a reasonable price!

What's great

Elfsight works remarkably well and I've found it easy to configure and add to various web sites with differing set ups. Friendly and resposive support. It is ideal for agencies, or similar, because it is simpler and cheaper than multiple plugins. 5 Star product and Support.

What needs improvement

It might benefit from having a per-instance package rather than levels.

NO noticable effect on speed.

Were there any conflicts with existing site scripts or plugins?

I use the Beaver Builder [fl-safe] shortcode where needed. Works perfectly.
