EduParty turns any video call into a shared arcade. A Host opens a free room, up to six players join with a 4-letter PIN, and everyone plays inside the same call. Three games are live: Stop (Categories), Quiz, and Taboo, with more on the way. No sign-ups, no downloads.
Hi Hunters! 👋
I'm a solo developer. I built EduParty because ESL teachers I know kept struggling to find interactive games for online classes that don't require students to sign up or sit through ads.
It's a free real-time multiplayer portal built for video calls. A Host opens a room, up to six players join with a 4-letter PIN, and everyone plays inside the same call. Three games are live: Stop (Categories), Quiz, and Taboo.
The stack is React 19, Vite, Tailwind, and Supabase for the real-time sync between players. Mobile performance mattered a lot here, since most of these sessions happen mid-class on whatever device is open.
I'd love feedback on the real-time latency and the overall flow. Open two tabs — one as Host, one as Player — to see the sync in action. What would make this useful for your own classes?
