@ish and I built Edible during our Junior year of college. After 18 months of iteration, we’re excited to share what we’ve built with you. We’re empowering users to eat the way that suits their lifestyle by making health, diet, and allergy information for dishes at restaurants as accessible as possible. We’ve recently launched in Los Angeles where we support vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free lifestyles.
The idea came about when I went to college and realized how much harder it is to visit restaurants with my food allergies than it was in my hometown. It honestly felt like a game of twenty questions with the waitstaff every time I ordered - we figured there was a better solution for this.
