I liked the concept so decided to download. When I tried to add a podcast and it forced me to choose one of a few auto-download options, I deleted it. The way I listen to podcasts, I like to have a list of favorites, and to be able to subscribe to only the ones I choose to.
@alexg473 You definitely don't need to subscribe to any podcast you're not interested in. I'm sorry you thought you were forced to do that. I'm assuming you're referring to the suggested podcasts shown to you after registering? Those are just suggestions. You can also search for any podcast you want or skip that step entirely and subscribe later. I hope you'll give it another chance!
@orengoldfinger Take a look at Overcast. I can have a podcast show up on my list of favorites, so I can quickly browse the episodes, but episodes will not auto-download unless I specify that they should.
@alexg473 Ah you can do the same in Earbud, we just still consider it a subscription! When you subscribe, just set "download limit" to "0 episodes" and you're all set!

Amazing. I've always wanted something like this. Now, if Amazon could do something similar with Kindle...
Are the founders formerly from Clammr? This looks interesting, downloading it now.

Looks cool. I really like the idea of "keep track of what you're listening to". I would really love some good way to keep track of both great episodes on specific topics and how much I listen to
@matthewtwhuang we definitely plan on bringing it to Android but right now we're still just focused on iOS. FYI It also works on an iPad if that helps you any.
