Hi @iam_sofia! Regarding duplicates, it will compare file hashes to check for files with exactly the same content. And for organization, it will also analyze file content (if allowed), so you can totally organize your images based on what's in the screenshot.

To answer your question, yes, every file and folder on your computer (with the exception of files you mark as private) is indexed in a vector database and summarized. This allows the AI to quickly search and understand your data. While this process is incredibly efficient for searching, it can be resource-intensive, especially with a large number of files.
You've hit on a key point regarding the pricing. I agree that the current plans aren't quite where they need to be, and I'm actively working on refactoring the pricing structure to be more flexible and fairer, particularly concerning the initial indexing cost.
Didn't realize how useful this would be until I remembered I had a downloads folder. This solves that black hole problem! Also my friends always have too much on their desktops blocking the wallpapers, this will clean it up good.
