Doomless helps you stop doomscrolling without blocking the websites you actually need. Set daily or session limits for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok and other short-form feeds — or block them completely. When you hit a limit, Doomless stops only the short-video feed while the rest of the site keeps working. Free, private, and built for Chrome.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Doomless because I didn't want the usual solution to doomscrolling: blocking entire websites.
YouTube is useful. Instagram is useful. TikTok can be useful. The problem is the endless short-video feed that keeps going long after you came for one video.
So I built Doomless around a simple idea:
Don't lose the website. Lose the endless scroll.
You can set limits for the number of videos, session time, or total daily time. You can also block Shorts, Reels, TikTok feeds and other short-form content completely.
What makes Doomless different is that hitting a limit doesn't lock the whole website. You can still use search, subscriptions, regular videos, posts, stories and messages — only the short-video feed is stopped.
There are also Swipe Lock, mindful pauses, Hardcore Mode, grayscale, progress tracking, and other ways to make your own limits easier to stick to.
Doomless is free, has no ads, no account, no analytics, and no data collection. Everything stays in your browser.
I'd especially love feedback on one thing: what would make Doomless actually help you stop scrolling when you know you should?
Thanks for checking it out! 🚀
