To be honest, my unfair advantages are gone with the new AI models: Getting ideas and building them. And this scared me, for a moment, I thought that finally everyone around me would become a builder.
I went to all my friends who told me before: "I have an idea, can you help me build it?" and told them that they can do it now, with very little effort.
How do the daily calls actually work? Do we just talk about our tasks?
@oussama_nakhil Each call is 15 minutes with the same small circle of founders. We share what we did yesterday, what we're working on today and anything we're stuck on.
Tasks give the conversation a starting point, but we also talk through problems and help each other out. Sometimes someone has already faced the same issue and has useful advice. That's been one of my favourite parts of it :)
@rania_rimali niice, will check it out for sure. And can I choose or change the circle if i want to?
@oussama_nakhil Yep!!! You can choose depending on the time you want to join
@oussama_nakhil @rania_rimali 5 entrepreneurs, 3 mins each and you answer 2 questions:
-what did you do yesterday?
-what are you doing today?
Are you struggling with productivity too?
@rania_rimali @amraniyasser It is the main problem actually, and this seems like the cure for it. I am in!
Thank you so much! Excited for you to try it, and I'd love to hear how your team gets on with it 😄
@manal_essalek1 @naimz @karimbenkeroum @daniel_nwankwo @thamibenjelloun Joining today :D?
@manal_essalek1 @naimz @karimbenkeroum @thamibenjelloun @amraniyasser Obviously‼️
Nice idea! Congrats! I'm afraid to try and not commit 🤣
@kate_ramakaieva The platform is addictive!! Trust me
@rania_rimali like the morning coffee
@kate_ramakaieva Its completly okay :D !! just join us, we wouuld love to hear your feedback!
looks cool!
@louislecat You should join us for daily calls :))
@louislecat thank you !! Yes you definitely should git it a try !!
@bengeekly @rania_rimali Taking a shot at solving productivity is a bold bet, especially for solo founders who often struggle with the compounded challenges of staying focused, prioritizing, and actually shipping!
I really like the accountability angle here. How do you make sure people consistently show up for their daily calls? And what does a typical session look like in practice?
Thank you Dounia! From my experience, having the same small circle makes a big difference. You get to know each other and notice when someone's missing, so showing up feels like a commitment to people rather than another task on your list. Attendance also counts towards the leaderboard. I'm at 85% myself, so definitely not claiming perfection :)
A typical call is 15 minutes: what did you do yesterday, what are you working on today, and where are you stuck? That keeps it focused, while leaving room to share advice or talk through a problem with someone who's faced it before.
@rania_rimali Thank you, makes a lot of sense; If you build a sense of belonging to a community through this system, accountability will come as well !
Also, feeling like you can have someone help you out as well, brainstorm with you when you are stuck, is an extra motivation to show up !!
@dounia_boughalem 5 founders, 3 mins each where you answer 2 simple questions: what did you do yesterday and what are you doing today?
Join us, we promise to make you join the daily calls 😂
@amraniyasser I will definitely give this a shot, i just need to know when the meetings happen, at what time of the day ? i am not an early bird, so would definitely struggle if it's an early morning cadence :)
@dounia_boughalem You choose the time you want, anytime of the day !! What is the best time for you for the calls
a 15 min daily call only works if it lands at the same hour for everyone. from Lisbon that's easy with Europe and hard with the West Coast. do circles get matched by time zone first, or by what people are building?
@olia_nemirovski It depends on the time you choose!! Register, choosse a time for your calls, and join a circle that matches it
@Doneas How does Doneas help agency owners stay accountable and manage weekly goals while handling multiple clients projects?
@shivam_kushwaha16 As an agency owner, I use Doneas to turn everything competing for my attention into a realistic weekly plan, then break it down into daily tasks across my client projects. It helps me decide what I can actually finish rather than putting every request on today's list.
The daily 15-minute calls add accountability to that plan: I share what I did, what I'm doing next and where I'm stuck. Having other founders follow along helps me stay focused, and sometimes they have useful advice on a challenge I'm facing :)
@rania_rimali that makes sense Rania managing multiple clients projects can get overwhelming so having a clear daily plan really helps you stay focused and consistent
@shivam_kushwaha16 You can add multiple projects on Doneas, and it will help you have a clear vision, and do tasks that matters !!
