@busmark_w_nika That can be your vaccine 💉! I think my english got better, having it as a habit in the same daily time, same people for a while definitely makes it easier for introvert!

Congrats on the launch! I have been using doneas consistently ever since working closely with Amine, and it has boosted my productivity to levels I did not know I was capable of before. Genuinely recommend using it if you're struggling with staying consistent! because god knows it helped me the past few weeks :) One question I do have for the makers, though, is do you imagine in the future adding a sort of coefficient of productivity ? Like a task done by a person who has been consistently productive over weeks would be worth more than a task done by a person that is inconsistent ? I think this would encourage more consistency and reward the people showing up everyday on the leaderboard!
@anas_chhilif Thanks Anas, so glad it's been helping you! I like the idea of rewarding consistency over time, rather than just one very productive week. I'd be curious to see how a streak bonus could work while still giving new members, or someone coming back after a difficult week, a fair chance to catch up. Definitely an interesting idea to explore :)
@rania_rimali Yeah It definitely should not become too unfair on new users, I hear you on that. But now I am also wondering for people who have been consistent but hit with a heavy week or so if a streak freeze like what duolingo has would be beneficial ?
@anas_chhilif We actually already have a streak freeze! Exactly for that reason: giving people some breathing room during a difficult week without losing the consistency they've built :)

We've been trying to solve our own productivity problem for a long time. It started with daily calls on Google Meet, then we kept improving how we do those calls, how we define our tasks, plan our weekly sprints, manage our backlog...
Once we found a system that worked for us, we decided to turn it into a platform.
That's how @Doneas was born.
It's become part of my daily routine. My day starts with @Doneas. I check my tasks, what I did yesterday, and what I am doing today.
And the daily accountability calls with other entrepreneurs is probably my favorite part. We meet every day and answer two simple questions: What did you do yesterday? What are you doing today?
We share our progress, talk about our tasks, and sometimes realize we're facing the same problems: you get advice, new ideas, and sometimes solutions from founders who've been through the same thing.
We built Doneas.com because we needed it ourselves. And now we're really excited to share it here.

@amraniyasser I love that this grew out of something you needed yourselves. Having a weekly plan is one thing, but those daily calls help me actually follow through. Doneas has genuinely changed how I approach my tasks and goals, so I'm excited to see more people discover it :)

I'm Bengeekly (YC S20, co-founded Mailwarm). I've tried every crazy trick to stay consistent as a solo builder:
🍪 Bet a KitKat for every day I didn't show up at my coworking space
👮🏻♂️ Hired an assistant just to jump on an early-morning call with me
🫨 Organized what was already over-organized
It worked for a while. Then I'd travel, and every habit broke.
What finally worked: other builders. I got the best founders I know (YC, Station F, a few crazy indie hackers) on a short call every day at the same time. If you missed it, someone checked on you. We all shipped more and actually stuck to our habits. Then too many friends wanted in, so I split us into small groups and built Doneas.
How it works:
→ Get matched with a small circle of founders
→ Plan your week: roadmap, backlog, sprint
→ Join a 15-min daily call: what did you do yesterday, what's the plan today?
→ Climb a leaderboard for the standups you show up to and the tasks you ship

I run a digital marketing agency, so my weeks fill up quickly with client projects, follow-ups and ideas for growing the business. I've always struggled with staying organized, and being busy doesn't necessarily mean I'm getting the right things done
Doneas has really changed how I approach my work, my tasks and my goals. Planning my week and breaking it down into daily tasks helps me focus on what I can realistically get done, instead of writing a huge list and hoping I'll somehow get through it. I'm achieving much more than I used to!!!!
I also really appreciate the daily accountability calls with other founders. You get to know what everyone is working on and develop a special bond through showing up for each other. That human connection is a big part of what makes Doneas valuable to me.

How do the daily calls actually work? Do we just talk about our tasks?
@oussama_nakhil Each call is 15 minutes with the same small circle of founders. We share what we did yesterday, what we're working on today and anything we're stuck on.
Tasks give the conversation a starting point, but we also talk through problems and help each other out. Sometimes someone has already faced the same issue and has useful advice. That's been one of my favourite parts of it :)
