Hi Product Hunt! My name is Pritam, CMO of Docupeer; me and my team built DocuPeer because getting meaningful feedback on a research paper is honestly way harder than it should be. A lot of students and early researchers either do not have someone who can properly review their work or end up relying on a few friends who may not know the subject well enough. At the same time, there are thousands of people writing papers who could give genuinely useful feedback to someone else. So we built a simple system around that idea: review at least two papers, then submit your own and get reviews from other people in your community and subject. While building it, we kept coming back to one question: how do we make peer review feel accessible instead of intimidating? That led us toward anonymous reviews, subject matching, inline comments, and keeping the whole thing free. DocuPeer is still early, and we are excited to see what people actually do with it. We built this because we wanted a place where students and researchers could share their work, get honest feedback, and help each other improve.
