I used to hate filling out insurance form claim PDFs. Printing them (or using online PDF editors) and filling out details (many times the same) over and over again was my hell. So I decided to solve my own problem by seeing if AI could lift this burden. After months of trial and error, research, and nonstop code writing Docamine is what came out of this. Now I look forward to filling out the forms since I know how much easier it is. The PDFs or images will be analyzed to detect fillable fields. These can be adjusted easily via the editor, especially on a computer. I just upload photos of the bills, diagnoses, IDs, etc. and it uses information inside them to automatically and reliably pre-fill the form. All I need to do is review it and enter any missing info. This data will also be remembered for the future. Since I've been the only person using/testing so far I'd like to see how it works/scales with a small group of people. Please help me debug and improve it, and see how it will also save you a lot of time. An automatic credit of $2 (plenty for many documents) is given to all new accounts, but let me know if you need more for testing. Thank you!

@chethan_bm Thank you very much!

@dhruv_n1 completely agree with you. One of the big points on the TODO list 👍.

Great to see a tool like Docamine coming to life, @marsel_khadiyev! Filling out those endless forms can feel like a second job sometimes. I mean, who actually enjoys that tedious process? 🤔 The AI element here is a game changer! Having the tool recall previous info and auto-fill forms? Talk about a productivity boost! I'm curious to see how it handles different types of documents—have you tested it with both PDFs and image files extensively? And any plans for integrations with other platforms down the line? Can't wait to give it a shot and help debug this cool project. Definitely up for a beta testing! Kudos on this launch, it sounds like a solid MVP! Looking forward to seeing what the community thinks as it gains traction. Keep up the great work!

@michaelgreen Thank you very much for your interest. Feel free to write me here or on the site any issues you may find, or if you need more AI credit. As for more integrations down the line, yes there are many possibilities which we plan to explore, however at the moment it's all about beta testing, seeing how it scales, and improving most requested/key areas. I just want to make a better time saver for everyone.

This sounds really interesting, @marsel_khadiyev! I'm curious about the AI aspect—how does it differentiate between different types of documents when filling out forms? Also, for new users, are there specific use cases or document types that you recommend starting with to get the most out of Docamine? Can't wait to see how it scales with more testers!
Marsel Khadiyev
@williamjosephparker Thank you for your interest! We use AI vision combined with any other data available about the document to do the analysis, so the usage should be universal for pretty much any document type. I am doing my insurance claim paperwork using it (and as my main test case), but I can see any other use case working the same way: just give it all you have and it will do most of the work.

Hey Marsel, I'm interested in how it handles privacy and data security, especially with sensitive documents like insurance forms. Does the AI retain any of the information it processes? How accurate is the field detection on complex forms? Congrats on the launch!
Marsel Khadiyev
Hi @kyrylosilin, thank you, and good questions. All uploaded files are securely stored and any collected information is internally stored and never used for anything other than filling out your own forms. We excersize strict security standards in terms of the website itself. All info and files are deleted when you delete projects internally or your account, which you can do at any time. The accuracy of fields is not 100% still, but it saves 90% of the work. In complex forms you may have to adjust fields, and we have very user friendly tools for that. In the future the adjusted fields will be always used for the same document.

Wow, @marsel_khadiyev, this sounds like a total game changer! As someone who’s navigated the PDF nightmare, I can relate. The thought of AI revolutionizing our form-filling experience is exciting! I'm keen to see how Docamine handles different templates and formats. Love that it learns and remembers data—such a time-saver! Count me in for the test group; I’d love to help debug and provide feedback. Getting $2 credit right off the bat is awesome too! Let’s see if this MVP can really take the 'pain' out of paperwork. Keep us posted on your progress!

@star_boat Thank you very much! Please give it a try, let me know if you find any issues, and let's keep in touch.
