Hey community! Brendan here, founder of DesignXDM. I started building DesignXDM because I felt a lot of AI creative tools were optimizing for speed and polished outputs, but often producing visuals that felt generic and creatively average. As someone coming from design and creative direction, I became more interested in how AI could support the ideation stage instead, helping creatives explore references, textures, colour systems, archives, compositions, and visual direction before execution begins. DesignXDM uses agentic AI more like a visual curator than a final-image generator, creating Mood Canvases designed to help creatives think before making.
