I'm Femi, and we at Algolog have built DeepThread because I was tired of the daily standup ritual.
Every morning: open GitHub, check what I merged. Open Slack, find that discussion. Open Linear, see ticket status. Then type it all into Slack. 10-15 minutes, every single day.
So we built a tool that does it for me.
DeepThread connects to GitHub, Slack, Linear, and Jira. When you click "Generate Standup," it:
- Fetches your activity from the last 24 hours
- Groups it by what you worked on
- Writes a clean summary with blockers
The whole thing takes about 10 seconds.
What makes it different:
Most "standup bots" just ask you questions or remind you to post. DeepThread actually generates the content by reading your real activity across platforms.
Built-in growth hack:
Every standup ends with `_Generated by DeepThread_` — when you paste in Slack, teammates ask "what's that?" and try it themselves.
