How accurate is the match when the posting is from an ATS or a recruiter and not the actual team?
@naimz Good question. We don't rely on the posting author. We analyze the role, find the most likely managers for that function and location, and return up to 10 candidates. Since the cost of emailing the wrong person is low, many users simply reach out to several of them.
I like the idea! My only question is how often hiring managers actually respond instead of redirecting candidates back to the standard application process. Curious if you've seen any patterns so far.
@elena_arrola15 That's definitely possible. But job hunting is a numbers game. If you can get your profile in front of someone who actually influences the decision, your chances are usually higher than relying on the application alone. Similar to sales: going beyond the official process often helps.
Cool concept. The thing I'd love to know is not how many contacts are found, but how many conversations actually start because of it. That's the metric that would really convince me.
@valentin_leinonen That's the million-dollar question 🙂 We know we can find relevant people. Now we're trying to learn whether reaching out actually translates into more interviews.
tried it and worked great for me!
One suggestion: when I submit collection with selected jobid it tells that job url is needed
https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/collections/recommended/?currentJobId=4384491886
But I think you can form it automatically https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4384491886 (or suggest it to user)
Congrats Dima!
@vladimir_gorovoy Thanks a lot, that's a great catch. We should definitely be able to convert that URL automatically. I'll add a fix for it 👍
Not sure I'd use it for every application, but definitely for the jobs I really want.
@mila_koshkina1 thank you, Mila =)
