A very interesting take on the way deals are done wrt SaaS based products. Nathan has done a real good job in putting the show format together, which is interesting, learning, entertaining, direct feedback and helpful for founders out there.
Hey this is cool, thanks for hunting @kasualy
When I was building my first side project (Software) back in 2011, I also imagined what happened at "the moment".
An email from a bigger competitor asking to acquire us.
... or maybe a wealthy individual who wanted a SaaS company.
Figure best way to let other learn how software companies exit is to just record it all live.
I don't deserve credit for this show though. It's not possible without founders coming on and being super vulnerable.
Thanks to all the early founders who came on like:
JustReachOut , $340k top line, $150k profits, got 2 offers live from @danmartell and @sujanpatelKarmabot 2.0 , and @stas_kulesh, $192k top line arr, got great feedback from expert guests like @andrewwarner
.... and to all the buyers who agreed to write checks/invest their own money in these deals.
Hope you guys enjoy!
We're still in "show MVP" mode.
Doing it every thursday at 1pm CST on youtube.
Let me know if you have ideas on ways we can make it more educational + entertaining.
🎉
(it's super hot in Austin today so I'll be inside, hanging in the comments if you guys want to chat!)
@garintheengineer not really a requirement other than have some revenue and be interested in selling. based off the founder that comes on, i go cast buyers who I know write checks for that type of company. Can apply here: nathanlatka.com/casting

It was a life-changing experience to be the chum for the sharks on the show. Keep on sharking Nathan 🦈🦈🦈
@greg727 ha! I tried to tag you in comment above but couldn't find your handle :D You did a great job (esp being 99% Brazilian based with a great set of international enterprise accounts!)
@greg727 Greg you were so great on the show! So incredible to see a company bootstrap to almost $1m/ARR in B2B enterprise space. Congrats on all of your success bud!

You want to sell your Micro SaaS? Deal or Bust aka SharkTank for SaaS is the place.
But don't take my word for it. Check out one of his previous episodes. I recommend the one where RightMessage.com was on sale.
@nathanlatka is top notch. It's also neat to get an inside look at the negotiation process as I've started buying and selling SaaS tools. Anything Nathan puts out is a must watch IMO -- I'd highly recommend the show!
@nathanlatka Has been absolutely killing it with this show. I've watched every single episode live and there are so many gems you can pick up from the founder and investor perspective.
The way Nathan keeps the conversation moving and on track maximizes the value to all parties within the hour.
Make sure to watch until the end when Nathan brings in the experts who basically give free consulting advice to the founder live. They could probably charge thousands for an hour of their time alone.
Keep it up Nathan and thank you to all of the founders, investors, and experts that come on!
