Dart incorporates AI from the ground up to empower your team to work smarter, streamline tasks, and achieve more with less effort. Now with Dart you can chat with AI to accomplish any action as well as assign expert agents to work on tasks across a broad range of categories.
This is the 3rd launch from Dart. View more

Dart
Dart now combines AI chat and agents into a one-of-a-kind project management tool. Brainstorm, plan, and track projects effortlessly by talking to AI. Then deploy specialized and even custom agents to handle any type of work you’ve mapped out.

@milad_malek Cool direction. How well does Dart handle collaboration when multiple teammates are chatting with AI at once?
Dart
@mohsinproduct Hey thanks for the question! Each team member has their own chat window that they separately manage- so you can all chat with AI at the same time!
Dart
@mohsinproduct yeah like @milad_malek said everyone can chat with AI at the same time. Since we have a lot of users we are used to handling a lot of simultaneous work.
In general collaboration is also a key feature at Dart, and a big technical challenge. Having AI and several users work together on a 'Google Docs-style' experience was quite complex, but that and many other collaboration features are baked in to Dart at this point
@milad_malek Really like how clean this looks. For a team that isn’t used to classic PM tools, how easy is it to get started — do you need to set up a lot before it becomes useful, or can you just jump in and let Dart guide you?
Dart
@anastasiiazhur You can definitely just jump in and start chatting with AI to get things done. It will help guide you and our team is always available to support as well through the Help and Resources button.
Congrats on the launch, and love that the example human in the demo was named Henry :-)
Do you have more detail on how tightly integrated you are with agentic coding tools like Cursor? They have tight integrations with Linear including MCP but also things like thoughts, tools, to-dos as agentic work progresses.
Dart
@henry_weller Hey thanks for the detailed question! Using Dart with AI coding tools like Cursor and Windsurf is actually one of the biggest use cases of Dart. We also have an MCP server and have an integration with Cursor.
Delivering agentic processes to handle tasks is something we do today, and we actually have a Cursor agent that acts directly in Dart in beta today. In general Dart is the command hub for AI agents and you can use it to control and orchestrate complex agentic workflows.
Dart
@henry_weller it's a great name ;)
Thanks for the support! I’ll just add to Milad’s comment that we also just launched our n8n integration which will help you to set up even more elaborate agentic processes.
Epsilla (YC S23)
@milad_malek Congratulations. And happy product launch.
Dart
@huisong_li Thank you! If Epsilla opens up connecting your agents via API w/ Dart for project management that could be something cool we can explore.

Also make sure to click on that first image above to see our video since this took a lot to produce 🤣. You don't want to miss it!
This is probably the first time I am seeing a product with most boxes checked in the Personal free plan.
That's an unbelievable pricing strategy!
All the best for your launch!
Dart
@ashok_nayak yeah we really want to make it as easy as possible to let anyone and everyone use Dart. There are tons of great features that are always free, and everyone gets a free trial of the advanced features as well
Dart
@ashok_nayak And there will be even more checkboxes on the free plan to come! Software should be helpful primarily, and having a really powerful free tier helps us to provide as much general value as possible. We primarily make revenue as teams using Dart grow and spending a bit on project becomes just a minor expense.
At Stably AI, we use Dart and find the AI chat feature incredibly useful. We simply paste our meeting notes directly into the AI chat, and Dart automatically converts them into properly prioritized tasks with the correct assignees.
Dart
@jinjing_liang1 It's been great to have your constant insights, feature ideas, and yes even the occasional bug report 😆. Thanks for all the support! AI Chat has consistently proven to be our most highly valued feature.
P.S. Stably is great too to stay on top of QA testing!

The AI-native PM approach makes sense for teams already comfortable with conversational interfaces. The ability to bring in specialized agents for different domains could reduce context switching between tools.
How does the agent coordination work when multiple specialists are involved in the same project? Like if the marketing agent creates requirements that affect the coding agent's tasks, does the system handle those dependencies automatically or require manual oversight?
Also curious about the third-party agent integration. What's the approval and security model for bringing external agents into project workflows that might contain sensitive business information?
Dart
@alex_chu821 Thanks for your questions. Usually when different agents handle different types of tasks in a project the easiest thing is to set up a workflow or automation where one agent works at a time and the tasks are successively completed and passed on to the next agent. I would recommend starting off by manually overseeing how each step works with different agents, but as comfortability increases you can relax that and automate more. As for bringing on external agents, the process is similar to setting up integrations and usually involves sending or receiving API keys and/or granting auth with third party tools. Just like with traditional integrations, it's up to individual teams to decide on their own data approval processes whenever setting them up, and Dart has specific roles to help define Admins and Technical Admins that have the ability to do so. In addition, just like human teammates, individual agents are granted access to specific spaces, and can be removed from areas with sensitive data, and typically only interface with tasks that they are directly assigned to or commented on.

@milad_malek The sequential workflow approach makes sense for maintaining control over agent interactions. Manual oversight during initial setup is practical - most teams will want to understand how agents behave before automating handoffs between them.
The role-based access control for agents mirrors traditional team management, which should make adoption easier for existing project managers. The ability to restrict agents from sensitive areas addresses one of the main security concerns with AI integration.
Looking forward to seeing how your platform evolves. We're also launching new products in this space soon - would be interested in connecting and sharing insights on AI agent collaboration patterns.
