@rrhoover me too but this app is by a friend of a friend and i was actually quite impressed with how they've put it together.. you basically enter into a messaging thread like you would in a messaging app/social network around the product... it feels like lots of ppl are trying to nail this on mobile (eg. Jelly) and there's a big opportunity for those who do
I'm very skeptical* that people will download and use an app solely to gather product advice/feedback from friends. It's far easier to ask these questions on Twitter or Facebook, where your friends are. Furthermore, in most cases I'd prefer to get recommendations from influencers I trust rather than my friends.
*I haven't tried the app yet. :)
