Hello there šŸ‘‹ This is Pramod, the maker of CrawlChat - An AI chatbot for your help documentation and support. I am super excited to launch it on ProductHunt and bring it in front of the amazing community here. I was initially exploring bringing tech documentation of libraries to AI tools using MCP. I got into the RAG workflow and understood how important it is to create a user friendly way of getting help from the documentation of a company. I started CrawlChat and eventually turned it into a tool that helps you connecting multiple sources such as websites (scrape), upload files, Notion and even APIs and embed the chatbot on your website, Slack workspace, Discord server, or as an MCP server. On the other side, you get to useful reports and charts explaining how well the bot is answering the questions from your sources, what is the scoring, what are the categories of queries, if any data gaps, channels and more. Here are few important features āœ… Works on any online documentation āœ… Upload files. Supports all formats āœ… Connect Notion āœ… Support tickets for human handover āœ… Discord bot, Slack bot, MCP server āœ… Fully customisable āœ… Teams āœ… Analytics and more Who is CrawlChat is for? > Companies who have internal documentations for compliance, SOPs, on-boarding, technical specifications and want to provide an easy way to get the help > Companies who are having technical documentation and provide handy "Ask AI" button on website > Discord communities to have the CrawlChat bot answer your community questions > Companies who have multiple clients on their Slack workspace and want to provide an easy way for them to get the help It is already being used by amazing companies such as Remotion, Konvajs, Polotno, 270Degrees and more Excited for the PH community to use it and get the valuable feedback :)
Ella Hall

This is fantastic for global teams but does the bot come ready to handle multilingual queries right out of the box?

Pramod Kumar

@ella_hall4Ā Yes, it does Ella! That's the advantage of AI. It can answer questions almost from any language!

Clara Ellington

I’m really impressed with the analytics feature it seems like a fantastic way to identify content gaps in help docs. How detailed are those insights (like failed queries or unanswered intents)?

Pramod Kumar
Sophie Wood

@pskd73 Can this chatbot be added as a floating widget on websites or is it only compatible with platforms like Slack and Discord?

Pramod Kumar

@sophie_woodĀ It can be embedded on websites absolutely! Checkout remotion.dev or konvajs.org to see it in action :)

Emily Hernandez

This is a clever way to enhance the value of documentation customers receive quicker answers and companies gain insights to genuinely improve their docs. It’s a win win situation.

Pramod Kumar

@emily_hernandez3Ā True that Emily. Thanks for that :)

Imogen Barrett

Does it work with private or internal documentation like content behind a login or is it just for public-facing material?

Pramod Kumar

@imogen_barrettĀ Currently public facing content but you can add Actions (APIs) that will be used by the bot for complex use cases. Happy to discuss more Imogen :)

Camille Mcintyre

How does your system deal with outdated or conflicting information from different sources?

Pramod Kumar

@camille_mcintyreĀ Currently it considers the latest source as the truth. But that's a very valid question, maybe I will have a report which points out conflicting facts just like data gaps!
