Conva.AI from Slanglabs (a Google-backed company) is the world's first AI assistant-as-a-service platform.
Conva.AI is the easiest way for developers to create, integrate and maintain an AI Assistant for their apps, without having to get into prompt engineering and other low-level AI nuances.
@patriciaharris thanks for your support. Conva.AI works with two types of data. One is what we call "Knowledge sources" that you use to train your Assistant (which ensures that the response from the AI is grounded in your app's data). Second is the actual user prompts (or unstructured inputs) that come as an input at runtime. We dont consume any other data that the app does not want us to consume. And the two data streams that is processed by us is protected by the highest industry standard security when stored on disk. We are working on ways to also detect PII data on the user prompts which will then never be stored on disk.

@kumrr@phaniraj_raghavendra, Conva.AI (Backed by Google) seems to have the potential to revolutionize the Gen AI space, appearing both comprehensive and simple enough to compete with the likes DSpy. and Anthropic's Claude 3.5 Sonnet Workbench. The Runtime Orchestration feature of Conva.AI sounds intriguing. How exactly does it select and execute the right capabilities while grounding responses in the app's context?
My firm and I will be watching this product very closely.
@kumrr@lohith_ry Thank you Lohith for your support and honored by your interest and the comparison to some of the leading names in the Gen AI space.
The Runtime Orchestration feature of Conva.AI is indeed a key differentiator. It works by dynamically selecting and executing the most relevant capabilities based on the current context within the app. This is done by analyzing the user input, the app's data, and the predefined logic set by the developer. The orchestration ensures that each response is not only accurate but also contextually grounded, making the AI's interactions feel seamless and intuitive.
We're thrilled that you and your firm will be watching Conva.AI closely, and we look forward to seeing how it can support your projects!
@phaniraj_raghavendra@lohith_ry thanks for giving us a try. The way our orchestration framwork work is that we have a special agent called the router. This agent uses meta data generated from each of the individual use-cases and uses that to route the incoming request to the right capability
Hey Kumar,
How does the platform handle privacy and data security, especially for industries with strict compliance requirements?
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin thanks for your support. Just Reiterating Kuamar's response from another post. Congrats on the launch @kumrr! Slang Labs' voice integration for apps sounds like a great way to enhance user experience. I'm curious about how easy it is to integrate with existing apps. Is there a lot of coding involved?
@angela_ni2 thanks for your interest in what we are doing. The AI experience can be added to apps quite easily. And the amount of coding required is quite minimal. All the AI side of the job can be done as a configuration activity on the Magic Studio (by creating one or more Capabilities for the AI Assistant) and the app can trigger specific Capabilities from the SDK side in a couple lines of code.

@kumrr@angela_ni2 We have built the platform with developers in mind, so one of our main focus areas was keeping the integration as easy as possible. The integration takes less than 10 lines of code to set up and see the Assistant in action. We also have sample apps on our documentation page highlighting how developers can integrate the Conva.AI assistant into their existing apps.
Thanks for your support and interest!
@giorgi_khatiashvili2 That’s awesome to hear! 🎉 Your excitement is exactly what we hoped for. We’re glad you got a chance to try Conva.AI, and we can’t wait to see what you create with it. If you have any feedback or questions as you explore further, feel free to reach out!
And best wishes for your upcoming launch!
@m4jiz Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the concept. I really appreciate your kind words and support—means a lot to me and the team. Thanks for the well wishes!

This is an intriguing launch, Kumar! 🎉 I’m really curious about the integration process with existing apps. How does Conva.AI handle compatibility with different platforms? For example, if I'm using a B2B model, what kind of customization options are available to make the AI Assistant fit specific industry needs? Also, you mentioned AI without prompt engineering—what does that exactly entail, and how does it affect the user experience? Looking forward to hearing more about the practical applications!
@dance17219 Thank you! Conva.AI is built for easy integration across platforms like iOS, Android, and web apps, with a quick setup time. For B2B models, it offers robust customization, allowing you to tailor the AI Assistant to specific industry needs, ensuring it aligns with your business goals.
Regarding AI without prompt engineering, it means you don’t need deep AI expertise. Conva.AI simplifies the process by handling the complex parts, so you can focus on defining capabilities. This ensures a smoother, more intuitive user experience tailored to your app’s environment.
Would love for you to try it out at studio.conva.ai and hear the feedback. It's as simple as it can get, just a click to build your assistant.
