I tried to use this for http://unreplied.me and it was a total fail. After weeks of test, I used the Gmail APIs and got all I needed in less than a week.
Probably helpful for different uses cases tho. Happy to share my experience with people - for what I can remember.

User of Context.io here -- it's a gem. The platform is quick and efficient and their developers responsive. As a long-time user, I'm excited to see all the upvotes that Context.io has gotten. Very well deserved.
The email inbox is a massive opportunity. So much of what's done in today's world (commerce transactions/communications/content sharing) flows through email. And the Context.io API wrapper makes development for the largest email services (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) accessible immediately. If you're looking to develop a service that is powered by email, I'd highly recommend giving these guys a try.
