A KPI in your company drops and nobody knows why. So the hunt begins: dig through old Slack, check who paused which campaign, ask engineering what shipped. Google Analytics tells you a KPI moved, never what caused it. And the shared spreadsheet everyone promised to fill in died months ago. CoNote is your company logbook. Connect your tools and every deploy, campaign change, tag edit and price update lands on one shared timeline. A KPI moves, you open that date, you see what changed.

Hi Product Hunters,
I'm Stefan, maker of CoNote.
I dreamed for years to one day also publish my own product here. Today’s finally the day, and I’m really excited to hear what you guys think!
This is my product:
I am working in Marketing and Product since almost 20 years now. Both in house and as a consultant.
I faced the same problem over and over again:
When I ask my team or clients why certain KIPs (traffic or conversion rates or so) dropped or gained, I kept getting the same answer: nobody remembers.
And so the search begins: We check emails and Slack messages, marketing tools like Google Ads or Facebook, the Tag Manager if there have been changes, ask IT if anything has been deployed, ask the agency if they made any changes, reach out to colleagues who no longer work at the company, and so on.
The problem: There is currently no single place where changes of a company get logged company wide. Sure, you could use the Google Analytics annotations for example but they are only available to those who have access to GA4 and need manual input.
So I built the thing I always wished my teams and clients had:
👉 a shared, automatic company logbook.
CoNote keeps every deploy, campaign and config change on one timeline.
Currently 31 tools are covered as integration (from GitHub to Google Ads), and I am working on more.
The day a KPI moves, the cause is already on the page. The day nothing breaks, you've lost nothing keeping it. A bit like an insurance for your company.
You can import years of history from a CSV so your timeline isn't empty on day one. All future notes will come in automatically.
I'd genuinely love your feedback!!
Also: What tool would you want CoNote to further integrate?
P.S. I write weekly about the "what changed?" problem and what I'm learning building CoNote. If that's your kind of thing, you can follow along on our LinkedIn page or my X:

the shared timeline idea is so simple but painfully needed, love that you focused on the "why did this number change" question instead of just another dashboard full of charts i never look at
@azra1143897 Thanks for your feedback. We also created a Google Analytics annotation integration. That enriches your Google Analytics chart by the notes taken by CoNote.

finally something that solves the "why did this number move" question without 6 hours of slack scrolling. loved how the timeline view groups everything by date
@nihatsaydak7de Thank you for the nice feedback. I was facing this problem for years, and I'm happy that others do see value in this tool.
