What became possible in your product with Astra that was not practical before?

Astra made it practical for me, as a solo maker, to work across the whole Color Season AI codebase in one continuous loop. I used it to trace the real user journey, connect the 12-season analysis to color draping, hair-color previews, and makeup guidance, and validate the result across the UI, APIs, mobile layouts, SEO pages, and Cloudflare deployment. The biggest change was moving from a collection of useful tools to a clearer next-step experience. Users can find their season and immediately test what it means on a face, instead of stopping at a color-season label. Astra was the development agent behind this work. The live product’s photo analysis continues to run on Cloudflare Workers AI.

Hey Product Hunt! I’m the maker of Color Season AI 👋 I started building it because I kept coming back to the question that follows a color analysis: okay, I know my season... now what? A season name does not help much when you are standing in front of your closet, considering a new hair color, or choosing a lipstick. With Color Season AI, you can upload one clear selfie or open a sample result to see how it works. It places you in one of 12 seasons and gives you a palette you can use. From there, you can compare nearby seasons side by side on a face, preview achievable hair colors in your browser, and put together matching lip, blush, eye, and foundation shades. I also wanted the launch materials to show the actual product. The video walks through a sample analysis, color draping, hair shades, and a Soft Autumn makeup recipe on the matching sample face. Every screen you see comes from the live site. I’d love your take on two things: 1. Does the flow from the analysis to the next thing you can try feel connected? 2.
