ColabWize is a collaborative academic workspace designed for students and researchers to organize research workflows, collaborate on documents, and maintain credible academic writing.

can you tell us more about the app which stacks you used
@sure_yoga_priyanka Thanks for the question!
ColabWize is built with a modern web stack focused on performance and scalability. The frontend is developed using React, with a Node.js backend handling the application logic and APIs. Data is managed through a database optimized for collaborative workflows.
We designed the architecture to support real-time collaboration, document management, and structured research workflows for academic teams.
Happy to dive deeper if you're curious about any specific part of the stack!
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I’m the maker of ColabWize.
ColabWize is a collaboration workspace designed for academic and research teams. It helps researchers, students, and collaborators organize projects, share ideas, manage documents, and work together in one structured environment.
I built it after seeing how scattered academic collaboration can be with notes, files, discussions, and research tasks spread across many different tools.
ColabWize aims to bring those pieces into one workspace designed specifically for academic work and collaboration.
This is still an early version, and I would really appreciate honest feedback from the community.
• Would a tool like this fit your research or study workflow?
• What features would be most useful for academic collaboration?
• What would you improve?
You can explore it here:

I’ll be here throughout the day to answer questions and hear your thoughts. Thanks for checking it out!
@audacity_impact thats true , it has been a wonderful thing working on colabwize
Quick question for the community:
For those working in research or academic projects — how do you currently collaborate with your team?
Do you use tools like shared documents, Slack/Discord, or something else?
I’m trying to understand what workflows people actually use so ColabWize can support them better. Any insights would be really helpful.
