What do you think? …

swastik maiti

I need to improve a module.

Wait how do I know all the working components and dependencies.

--What’s connected to what?

--Where are the hidden dependencies?

The devs who made it aren’t around. Documentation is scattered.
I have too much on my plate to keep track of everything.

I wish I could just click and visualize the functional component, how they work and interlinked.

That's exactly what we are trying to build with Codalogy

Stop scrambling. Start visualizing.

@swastik_maiti right! paragraphs of ai generated text instead of code doesn't help anything - its swapping out 100 pages of content for 100 pages of content

kristopolous Hi Chris! Thank You for the feedback. Appreciate the point. We will try to overcome info overload with node merging features in future.

Being able to instantly see how everything connects in a codebase sounds like a real time-saver, especially when docs are outdated. Do you plan to add features for spotting hidden dependencies automatically?

swastik maiti

@shengkun_ye Thank you, Shengkun! Right now, we capture all developer-written dependencies and visualize them as connected components. For library-level dependencies, it’s mentioned in the working, but not yet represented as components. Expanding this into more automated hidden-dependency detection is something we’re actively exploring.

That’s awesome! A tool that can break down a codebase into clear, visual components sounds like a real game changer. Love the idea of exploring architecture with a coffee instead of endless digging.

@kanika_sharma22 Thank you for the kind words! We're glad you loved it, it truly inspires us to keep making it better. 🚀
