This is a great idea for a product, and as someone in academics I find this extremely helpful. This also allows me to test this from my use-case stand point. One thing I noticed is when I tried to save links from Google Scholar and Github - the preview and the clips just shows the URL (and not a subject line ). So it might get difficult to find out which repo/user I had bookmarked. Apart from that, a really neat product. Great job Devesh and team! As always, extremely proud of you!

I would 100% use this if I could share items (tweets, instagrams, photos) to an iOS app. The app doesn’t even need to view things at first, just the ability to share to it.

@tombielecki Our iOS app is on the way, and it will have all those features, keeping the simplicity intact. Please use the web version of app with our Chrome extension right now. You will find it's use even now. We will update you when the app is ready (pretty soon!)

CoBeats seems promising. The UI design is minimal and nice. Unfortunately is still lacking some essential bookmark management functionality such as different views, sorting, batch editing tags and folders, drag and drop organization, etc. But it's free and its under development so it might become a great tool.

We want to make a CoBeats app that syncs all your clips offline. However, because of the lack of extension support in mobile browsers, we feel that an app will not do justice to what CoBeats is - a space for all your web things.
