Most "video idea" lists hand every creator the same generic suggestions. ClipRadar starts from your numbers instead: it reads your analytics, live trends in your niche, and the formats TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Reels reward right now, then generates ideas ranked 0–100 by view potential. Each idea comes ready to film — hook, format, and a plain-English "why" tied to your own data. Free while in beta.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built ClipRadar because I was tired of staring at a blank screen wondering what to film next — and the "50 video ideas" articles all felt like they were written for someone else's channel.
ClipRadar takes the opposite approach: it looks at what your videos actually did, what's trending in your niche this week, and what each platform is rewarding right now, then ranks concrete ideas by how likely they are to pull views. Every idea is something you can actually film, with a reason attached so it's never a black box.
It's free while in beta. I'd genuinely love your honest feedback — especially on the ranking. What would make this a daily tool for you?

The data-driven idea scores feel way more useful than the random lists I've been jotting down myself. Appreciated that it explained why each idea should work for my channel specifically.
finally something that doesnt recycle those "post a day in your life" tips. plugged it into my channel and the top suggestion was a niche angle i hadnt considered, worth trying

Maker
@alisennecl99142 Thanks, it is still in beta, though the product itself is drastically improving. I'd come back in a couple weeks and it'll be mostly finished :)

one thing i'd love is a calendar view that shows when each idea is most likely to spike based on past performance and trend timing, would save me so much planning hassle
Finally tried this on my small cooking channel and the suggestions actually matched what my audience watches, not random viral stuff. The plain-English "why" tied to my own data was the part that surprised me most.
the scoring system that ties each idea back to your actual analytics instead of generic trends is genuinely smart, feels like it was built by people who actually struggle with the same problem
Amazing product, I can't wait until it's finished. I recently used a couple of these ideas, and they completely blew up on TikTok. Im planning on posting them on YouTube aswell, since it worked well.
What needs improvement
The product itself still needs some work, but its in the making. Keep it up!!
vs Alternatives
This idea is completely original, I will see if other people decide to copy this, but this is the first time something like this has been done. I hope clipradar can be the best competitor if there ever is a competition.
