Hi Product Hunt! I’m a piano creator who has been making pop, K-pop, anime, and game piano covers for the past five years. This project came directly from audience behavior and feedback. I noticed that many people were not just using my piano videos to “listen to one song” — they were studying, relaxing, journaling, running, or using them as background music for long periods of time. Over time, I started making longer compilation videos, adding ambient sounds like rain or fireplace noise, and even Pomodoro-style timers. Those videos performed really well, but the format had obvious limits: people couldn’t adjust the sound balance, switch ambient sounds, or freely combine the experience they wanted. That’s what led me to build cipmusic.com. I wanted to make piano listening more flexible and immersive, with scene switching, ambient sound, focus support, and a more customizable experience. Another big reason I built it was Practice Mode. Many people who bought my sheet music told me that even with slowed-down videos and hand shots, it was still hard to follow exactly which notes were being played. So I built a mode where the score and keyboard are synchronized, with speed control, left/right-hand practice, notation support, and direct visual guidance. One thing I learned during this build is that not every project should start from code. Because this product is very UI- and experience-driven, I started with interface exploration first, then moved into the harder technical layers later. That changed the whole development flow for me.
