Use Chorus Meditation?
Chorus is AMAZING! I just left my first class, feeling recharged and relaxed...thank you for making such an inspiring meditation practice and such a lovely community!
I'm a big fan. I attended live sessions in the before times when such things were permitted and then switched to online experiences over 2020. It's a strange combination of exhilarating and relaxing. I don't allow myself to slow down very often and the Chorus experience knocks me blessedly out of my head. I've even turned to doling out Chorus gift certificates as my present of choice :)
Even though I have always been keenly aware of the wonderful health benefits both physically and emotionally that come with meditation, I have never been good at meditating. I am just too fidgety BUT THEN I found Chorus Meditation which makes meditation enjoyable! Highly recommend!
I attended a few of the early classes in person (!!) pre-pandemic and was blown away by how good I felt after taking a Chorus class. I ended up bringing my roommates, sister, and a coworker to try it out because of how special the experience was; it was unlike any other fitness class or meditation app I'd tried. Not only did I have that "buzzing" and "accomplished" feeling you get after a workout, but I also had the mental clarity and "processing" that you get from traditional meditation classes. When the pandemic hit, the silver lining was that I could take Chorus classes from my own home (aka bed), on-demand to fit my schedule. Chorus classes really helped me reset when I was dealing with a stressful launch at work and a difficult breakup at home. With access to Chorus classes, it feels like I have a secret weapon in my pocket to reach my best potential (or sometimes just save me from myself). My sister and I will even take a class "together" to feel connected despite being physically distanced. Lastly, I am proud to support a founding team that has always supported the communities around them. Early on when the pandemic hit, they started donating a significant portion of class costs to charities that support mental health in communities of color and fight homelessness in the Bay Area. As a brand new startup, I can imagine there were a lot of sacrifices they personally made to put others first. Thank you for leading by example and creating such a wonderful experience that promotes health and happiness.
As someone who spends too much time on their phone (and work with people that spend too much time on their phones), Chorus is a great opportunity to learn and grow meditation practices. It has brought me considerable value and I encourage you to check it out!
