I spent way too long staring at candlestick charts feeling lost, and every "guide" was either a wall of jargon or someone selling a course. So I built the thing I wish I'd had on day one. Chart Drill teaches you to read charts in 5-minute drills — not lectures. You learn what a candle actually means, who's winning between buyers and sellers, and how to spot it yourself. Free, no signup, no gurus. Just one trader trying to make this less intimidating for the next person. I'd love your feedback.

I've been trading for a few years. At the start I had no idea where to begin, so I went to YouTube and then spent months in the loop: watch another guru tutorial, feel like I learned something, never actually practice. I could name the patterns and still not fully understand/comprehend what was actually going on behind the scenes of the candles. I got out of it the slow way, and it took far longer than it should have.
Chart Drill isn't the tool that taught me, I didn't have one. It's what I built afterwards, with everything I know now, and it's the thing that would have helped me most on day one. If a chart has ever left you confused or overwhelmed, that was me too.
Five-minute drills where you tap the wick, pick the stronger candle, find support on a chart, and plan a trade before you click. Miss something and it comes back at the end of the lesson. Practice nodes start with what you missed.
Two units are live: read a single candle, then read the chart (trends, levels, volume, a first plan). The (current) last lesson is about understanding the reality of a trading plan and what wins and losses actually mean, which is the part every video skips. More units, lessons, practice features, and a full app redesign are on the way.
This is a very early beta. It's free right now, and unit 1 will always be free; later units will cost something once they're worth it. There's no account, and it is educational only, not financial advice. It won't make you a trader as that comes with years of experience, what it will do is help you understand the core fundamentals of how to read charts which becomes the foundation of learning to trade and becoming a real trader.
