I've been testing this for a few months, and it's pretty great. Can't imagine going back to the whole weird mishmash of Skype, Call Recorder, and the other billion tools I needed to record and edit a podcast.
Comes with three web-based components: The Studio, The Editor, and The Publisher. All hosted in the cloud. Looks like a great setup for aspiring podcasters!

Looks great! Where does the user listen to these podcasts? Is that also integrated or the podcasters can choose between some providers?
@_yannbertrand Cast can host for you, if you'd like, or you can use Cast for part of the process and then grab your files and host elsewhere. People usually submit their podcasts to iTunes (and now the Google Play store) to make it easier for users to find them.
@_yannbertrand Agree that it would be awesome to be able to export to other platforms other than iTunes and Google Play. A lot of podcasters publish their content on multiple platforms to reach as many people as possible. We see a lot of people publish their podcast on Clyp, in addition to iTunes, Soundcloud, etc.
@yozapli Any decent quality microphone will do the trick; I've got a nice condenser mic (an AT2035) plugged in to an Apogee Duet, but the Apogee One is a much cheaper solution. We don't yet support guests calling in over the phone, but it's something we're considering.

@julianlepinski There seems to be a lot of feedback during our call and we can't seem to getting working. Any suggestions?
This looks great!
Just because I'm curious: Do you use Auphonic ( https://auphonic.com/ ) in the Editor? If not definitely check them out1 Their software did magic to my podcast audio files, back when i was podcasting myself.
This is awesome. Have been having to use so many different services. @julianlepinski - do you have a quick "how to" guide on transitioning all of your feeds to Cast? We host our podcasts on Soundcloud and then use the RSS feed on Soundcloud to publish on Stitcher & iTunes. I'm hesitant to move stuff over because I'm not sure if that will mess up our iTunes feed, etc. Any thoughts?
@ianmchenry Hey Ian – that's a great question. Right now some of the features you're asking about are still in development. We're working on a great way to move your existing content over to Cast, but it's not quite ready yet. If you want to be kept in the loop on stuff like that, we've got a (very infrequent) email newsletter that you can sign up for at http://tinyletter.com/Cast
