Checkout is the hard part, and most solutions clear it only where the merchant has integrated. CartAI completes checkout on any live merchant surface with no merchant-side work, cooperating with bot detection instead of evading it. One developer-first API, four products: Catalog (search and live pricing across merchants), Checkouts (clear and track orders to confirmation), Payments (PCI off your stack via Visa and Mastercard agent rails), Monetization (commissions on every agent sale).

Actually completes checkout on merchant sites without needing the merchant to integrate anything - that's the part that usually stays a demo elsewhere. The four-product split (Catalog/Checkout/Payments/Monetization) makes sense as separate concerns instead of one black box.

Not clear yet how disputes/refunds get handled when the agent picks the wrong variant on an ambiguous merchant page - would like to see that documented before pointing real transaction volume at it.

Two months ago I started building an RC submarine and got annoyed enough at parts-sourcing to point an agent at it. Kunal Mestri heard me complaining about it and pulled me into the beta - so I've had my hands on this since well before today.

The pitch nails it - my agent could find the part, price it, justify it, then stop dead at the cart. CartAI is the first thing I've used that walks through it and comes back with a confirmation. The integration was about as simple as it gets: POST a URL, get a task, poll to confirmation.

Honest note for other builders: merchant coverage today is strongest in mainstream retail, so a hobby-electronics BOM only partly filled. Not a complaint - it's a young API and the hard part, actually completing checkout, is solved. Coverage is the easy direction.

While the API documentation could benefit from a few minor refinements, the product itself is truly in a league of its own. It offers a unique experience unlike anything else I've used—in the best way possible!
