Cards turns a quote, thread, essay, or article into social slides. Paste your text, choose a format, adjust the design, and export images or render the deck as an MP4. The core editor is free, with no account or watermark required. Cards keeps your wording intact and uses rule-based splitting instead of AI rewriting.

Hi PH!
I built Cards after trying to post short fantasy stories on Instagram. The writing was ready in Obsidian, but moving it into a design tool meant splitting the text, balancing every slide, and repeating the work after each edit.
Cards starts with the text. Paste a quote, thread, essay, Markdown draft, or article link. It builds the slides, keeps the wording editable, and shows the same layout that will be exported. The free editor exports JPEG and PNG images without an account or watermark. Pro adds MP4 rendering, article import, shaped collages, saved assets, Buffer publishing, and one ZIP containing every social format.
I would love feedback on the text-first workflow and the motion presets. If you try it, tell me what you were making and where the editor slowed you down.
