Hey Product Hunters! I'm super excited to be launching my first solo product here. I built capture.dev after experiencing first-hand how tough it can be for product and engineering teams to communicate when it comes to feedback and bugs. The endless back and forth, missing context, screenshots of error messages... (I could go on!) Capture.dev is a visual bug reporting tool that makes it easy for your whole team to report, prioritise and fix bugs faster, whatever their technical knowledge. It... πŸ‘‰ Works on any website or browser (even mobile) πŸ‘‰ Makes it easy to add instant feedback to your website with annotations, video, or audio. πŸ‘‰ Automatically captures all of the technical info that developers need to debug issues. πŸ‘‰ Generates AI summaries of technical logs πŸ‘‰ Integrates with the tools your team already uses, like Linear and Slack. It’s completely free to try, and as a thank you to the Product Hunt community you can grab a discount code above for our team plan. Can't wait to hear your feedback, and I'll be here all day to answer any questions!

I've been using this tool for a few months now, and as a non-engineer, it makes capturing bugs so easy! Sometimes it can be quite scary capturing a bug; knowing if you captured the right thing (errors/console log etc) but this takes any of the worry away and it really is fun to use! Great work Jordan!! Wishing you all the best for Capture.dev!
Jordan Burnett
Thanks so much @rachaelgrocott - reporting bugs should never be scary! I'm glad to hear Capture is working for you

I've been following this since the beginning and am so excited to see it officially launching. The less friction and back and forth needed to convey a bug to the team the better and capture.dev is the best solution I've found by far, particularly as a less technical member of a very technical team. Congratulations Jordan!
Jordan Burnett
Thanks @kellyadam, bridging the gap between technical and non technical teams is the reason capture.dev exists - happy to hear it's working!

We're currently using this tool, and it’s quickly becoming an essential part of our workflow for capturing bugs and suggesting small improvements. Features like screen recordings streamline the process, eliminating the need to juggle multiple tools to report and fix issues. Big fan!
Jordan Burnett
Love to hear that @andrewcr77 - thanks for the kind words! πŸš€πŸ“Š

As an engineer, there is nothing worse than receiving a non-descriptive screenshot and the request to "fix this bug". You waste so much time following up - "what browser? Can you send the URL" - only for the reporter to forget or send inaccurate information. Capture.dev solves this - now get logs, an AI summary, a screen recording, URLs, recent network requests and more. Reported errors are so much easier to reproduce and resolve. @jorburn Congrats on the launch!
Jordan Burnett
Couldn't agree more @petewht. I think every engineer at some point in their career has experienced the dreaded "here's a screenshot of a console log". Couldn't be happier that Capture.dev is helping solve this issue for you and your team!
