Crowdfund independent contaminant testing for everyday products. Back test requests for food, cosmetics, clothing, and household cleaners.
A simple way to see results across categories would help. Like a public dashboard where anyone can browse what brands have been tested, who funded it, and what came back. Right now it feels like I'd only see outcomes for things I personally backed, but having a searchable archive would build trust and make it easier to decide what to request next.

Really cool idea, honestly this could actually push brands to clean up their stuff. One thing that would help me trust it more is letting backers see the raw lab results or at least a summary of the actual numbers detected, instead of just a pass or fail label. Basically more transparency on what was found and whether it crosses any known safety thresholds would make the whole thing feel a lot more legit.

tested it with a candle i was suspicious of and the results actually came back within like four days, which was faster than i expected. honestly the interface makes it super easy to submit requests without feeling like you need a science degree
