Make better hiring or just about any relationship decision with a 5-second background check designed for the social media age β‘ Instantly uncover which social networks and communities a person is active in, using just their nickname or email address.
Not going to lie, as a privacy advocate I kind of hate that this exists. I'm sure this can be a wonderful tool for those assessing candidates, but I wish we could create a culture where people's need to work didn't infringe on their desire to lead a private life outside of work.
Also, when it tested it, it doesn't seem to be working properly. Most of the results returned for the email that I tested were incorrect and not at all connected to the email that I provided. Tools that make it easier to infringe on privacy aren't the kind of things I want to send to the top of ProductHunt personally. Congratulations on the launch despite this and recognize that this is just, like, my opinion man.

@saslanyan Congratulations on the launch!! This is a fantastic and time-saving product. All the best :)
The idea is good, but I'm seeing irrelevant data.
Product should show only the data which it is cent percent sure. It is ok if it cannot show all, but what ever it shows should be perfect. And it can add a suspecting label or differentiation for data which the system is not sure about.

I tried it with my email (contact@mydomaine.com) and it returned all accounts with "contact" as a username. Itβs still nice but it needs some fine-tuning.
Not sure if anyone else faced it, but none of the social media profiles that came up on entering my personal email address were actually mine. 0 out of 7.
Also - not a fan of the concept. Feels like invasion of privacy. Social media disclosures should be voluntary for employees.
